Summary
It becomes a fruit press for citrus fruits with a press head (3) which carries out a press stroke and which has two holding matrices (4), each for one half of the fruit, which are arranged on both sides of a knife (8) and can be pivoted in opposite directions via parallel shafts (5) between an upper receiving position and a lower pressing position (12) as well as two slide guides (11) for the fruit halves (12) that run on both sides of the knife (8) and follow the outer orbit of the receiving matrices (4), and with the stamps (13) assigned to the press head (3), which are described in the lower pressing position of the press head (3) interact with the holding matrices (4). In order to ensure advantageous pressing conditions, it is proposed that the slide guides (11) have flexible elastic slideways (14) which protrude into the area of action of the punches (13) and which can be bent out into the receiving matrices (4) by the punches (13) during the press stroke.
(Fig. 1) / 11 (42188) II
The invention relates to a fruit press for citrus fruits with a press head which carries out a press stroke and which has two receiving matrices arranged on both sides of a knife, which can be pivoted in opposite directions via parallel shafts between an upper receiving position and a lower pressing position, for one fruit half each and two outer ones running on both sides of the knife Orbit of the receiving matrices includes the following sliding guides for the fruit halves, and with stamps assigned to the press head, which interact with the receiving matrices in the lower pressing position of the press head.
In fruit presses, in which the pressing tools are formed from fixed lower punches and receiving matrices interacting with these punches, which can be pivoted between an upper receiving position for the fruits and a lower pressing position (WO 2015/024034 A1), there are structural advantages with regard to the overall width, because the admission matrices are only swung back and forth between the admission position and the pressing position and do not rotate in opposite directions. When the receiving matrices are pivoted downward into the pressing position, the citrus fruits are halved with the aid of a knife which is arranged in a fixed manner between the receiving matrices and then pressed out in the lower pressing position by the punches penetrating the receiving matrices. So that the fruit halves cannot emerge from the receiving matrices before the stamps are used, the receiving matrices are assigned slide guides for the fruit halves which are carried along by the receiving matrices along these sliding guides. In the lower pressing position of the holding matrices, the stamps prevent the fruit halves from escaping from the holding matrices, / 11 if the fruit halves slide with the cutting surface from the sliding guides onto the stamps. However, this can only be ensured for citrus fruits that have a size adapted to the intake matrices. Since the slide guides have to be moved past the stamps during the press stroke so that the stamps can engage in the receiving matrices, there is a risk with smaller citrus fruits that the fruit halves tip off when pushed off before they are supported by the stamps, so that the fruit halves in be pressed in a tilted position, which should be avoided as far as possible.
The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a fruit press of the type described at the outset in such a way that proper squeezing can be ensured even with smaller citrus fruits.
Proceeding from a generic fruit press, the invention achieves the object in that the slide guides have flexible, elastic slideways which protrude into the effective area of the stamp and can be bent out by the stamp into the receiving matrices during the pressing stroke.
As a result of this measure, the free space in the slide guides required for the entry of the stamps into the receiving matrices is at least partially covered by the flexurally elastic slide tracks, so that the fruit halves slide on their cutting surface along the slide tracks extending the slide guides into the effective area of the stamp, without one otherwise when leaving to be exposed to the risk of tipping. The fruit halves, which are kept in a position that is favorable for the press stroke, regardless of the diameter of their cut surfaces, are thus pressed by the press head onto the stamps, which press the fruit halves into the die receptacles, taking the slideways with them, so that the flexurally elastic slideways contacting the stamps do not interfere with the pressing process, even though they protrude into the sphere of action of the stamp.
The flexurally elastic slideways are exposed to the press forces, but are essentially loaded by compressive forces that they can easily accommodate / 11. Nevertheless, it is recommended to arrange these slideways interchangeably as wearing parts. For this purpose, the slideways can be exchangeably connected to the slideways, which requires corresponding structural measures in the area of the slideways. The effort involved can be avoided if the slide guides provided with the slideways are interchangeably arranged on the press head.
The subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example. 1 to 4 show a fruit press according to the invention for citrus fruits in a section perpendicular to the waves of the receiving matrices in the upper receiving position and in the lower pressing position of the press head and in two intermediate positions.
The illustrated fruit press for citrus fruits has a frame 1 which forms a guide 2 for a press head 3 which runs in height. This press head 3 is driven along the guide 2 by means of a press drive. In the press head 4, two receiving matrices 4 are mounted on parallel shafts 5, which carry a drive pinion 6. The drive pinions 6 mesh with racks 7 fastened to the side of the frame 1, so that when the press head 3 is displaced along the guide 2, the drive pinions 6 rolling on the racks 7 move the receiving matrices 4 during the press stroke from the upper receiving position shown in FIG 4 and swivel back from the lower pressing position back into the receiving position during the empty stroke.
A knife 8 is fastened to the frame 1 between the two holding matrices 4, specifically with the aid of a knife holder 9 which overlaps the press head 4, so that the citrus fruits, which are fed to the holding matrices 4 via a feed channel, after cutting during the opposite pivoting movement of the holding matrices 4 cannot slide out of the receiving dies 4 due to gravity, the receiving dies 4 on the press head 3/11
Slideways 11 assigned to the fruit halves 12. These sliding guides 12 form a guide for the knife 8 between them.
Below the receiving dies 4, stamps 13 are provided in the frame 1, which interact with the receiving dies 4 in the lower pressing position, as can be seen in FIG. 4. If the holding matrices 4 loaded with the fruit halves 12 are lowered onto the stamp 13 during the press stroke of the press head 3, the fruit halves 12 are pressed out between the stamps 13 and the holding matrices 4. The squeezed juice is collected in a juice room and can be removed using a stopcock.
In order to keep the semi-crops 12 in a position advantageous for the subsequent pressing process with the cutting surface facing downwards against the punches 3, the slide guides 11 are provided with flexible elastic slideways 14 protruding into the effective area of the punches 13. As can be seen from the intermediate positions according to FIGS. 2 and 3, there is a risk with slide guides 11 without the slide tracks 14 that lengthen them, that with citrus fruits 10 with a smaller diameter the semi-crops 12 in the pistons 13 for the slide guides to move past Tilt off the required free space before the crops 12 can be supported with their cut surface on the punches 13, so that the crops 12 are not captured by the punches 13 in the area of the cut surface, but in the shell area, which is to be avoided.
The slideways 14 extend the guidance of the fruit halves 12 on their cut surfaces into the effective area of the stamp 13, so that the semi-crops 12 come to rest with their cut surface on the stamps 13 and are therefore properly pressed into the receiving matrices 4 with the shells ahead.
However, it is a prerequisite that the slideways 14 projecting into the area of action of the punches 13 do not hinder the pressing process. This is achieved in a simple manner in that the slideways 14 are designed to be flexurally elastic and are bent out by the punches 13 into the receiving matrices 4, as can be seen in FIG. 4. The flexurally elastic slideways 14 are thereby subjected to pressure by the pressing forces, so that at most a wear stress is to be expected, which makes it necessary to replace the flexurally elastic slideways 14. For this purpose, the slideways 14 can either be releasably connected to the slideways 11 or, according to the exemplary embodiment, can be held interchangeably together with the slideways 11.
In order to be able to lift the pressed crops 12 from the punches 13 and to discharge them into a collecting container, a discharge device is provided which, according to the exemplary embodiment shown, is formed from a discharge comb 15. The punches 13 are provided with grooves 16 aligned in the direction of the shafts 5 of the receiving dies 4 for receiving the fingers 17 of the discharge comb 15, which is articulated on the press head 3 about an articulation axis. Since the articulation of the discharge comb 15 is provided on the front of the slide guides 11 facing the user, the discharge comb 15 in the raised, stop-limited discharge position according to FIG. 1 drops below the slideways 14 towards the rear to a discharge opening opening into the collecting container. When the press head 3 is lowered into the press position, the discharge comb 15 strikes a sliding stop fixed to the frame and is thereby pivoted upward about its upper articulation axis when the press head 3 is further lowered, thereby saving overall height. In the lowered pressing position according to FIG. 4, the fingers 17 of the discharge comb 15 are countersunk in the grooves 16 of the stamp 13, so that the pressing out of the fruit halves 12 is not hindered by the discharge device. If, after the press stroke, the press head 3 is raised in an idle stroke, the discharge comb 15 is first pivoted into the stop-limited pivot position of the discharge position, taking the remaining shell halves on the rams 18, and raised above the ram 13, so that the half-shells along the falling fingers 17 in drop the collection container.
